Gather all your pals for a night of fun in mystery while you try to solve the Mystery at Maryweather Mansion. Attempt to solve it as fast as you can, to win a prize and the title of the most distinguished Fastest Mec Eng Escape Room Team (title/bragging rights > prize)

MESS By-Election

MESS By-Election

The 2020 MESS Elections consists of the First Year Representative and VP Academic Affairs.

The First Year Representative is responsible for representing the interests of all first-year mechanical engineering and biomedical mechanical engineering students. He/she will act as the student liaison between the students and the society while raising awareness of MESS amongst the first-year students.

The VP Academic Affairs is responsible for creating and running academic, networking, and hiring events for the members, as well as communicating academic issues to the faculty on behalf of the members. Further, he/she is responsible for creating budget proposals for each event prior to the event in question.

Please select one option from each category, you may select a candidate, select abstain or select no confidence. Abstain is equivalent to leaving the choice blank. No confidence is stating you do not believe any candidate is fit to hold the position. Should the number of no confidence votes be higher than the the vote count for the candidate with most votes for that position, no one will be elected and a bi-election will be held.
